West Coast Swing Utrecht
We like to teach people how to dance, we do not believe in teaching steps or moves. In our classes we focus on learning you the fundamental movement skills, like the connection with your partner, the music, and quality of movement. Understaning these fundamental skill will make you "get it" quicker, have more fun sooner, and build solid skills that make you progress faster.
Not sure which level is right for you? Ask our teachers for an assessment so that we can determine together which class will suits you best!
Weekly classes consists of a series of (usually) 8 lessons of 60 minutes. A bootcamp is a short, intensive way to learn the basics of West Coast Swing in several hours on the same day.
During a group class, the teacher's attention is divided by over the entire group. Mainly general tips are given. A private class is tailored your wishes. This is your chance to get personal attention and the feedback you need to progress exponentially faster. Where you have to coordinate your agenda with a group lesson, you can adjust a private class to fit your personal agenda.
We use a set of criteria for every level of our classes to make sure everybody in that level is at the same standard. And every student in that class knows that the other students are at the same level, so they know they can keep up and they can help to grow them too.
